Well I spent yesterday afternoon re-siting my Vue as I wasn't happy with the wind accuracy behind my house, it wasn't ideal. Fortunately, my very good neighbour across the road owns the field opposite us and was more than happy for me to stick the weather station up there. Safe to say he received a nice bottle of wine as a thanks.
So far it's looking as if the wind is much more accurate. I think the station was much too close to the house before and this was causing bad readings.
will you be uploaiding your data to a website?
I've been uploading to Wunderground since last Saturday (thanks to your logger of course) and you can view it here http://www.wunderground.com/weatherstation/WXDailyHistory.asp?ID=ICARMART10
. I am in the process of doing an AJAX website too using the Saratoga PHP scripts. Will most likely add it to my signature when I'm happy with it
Here are some updated pictures..
Taken from the upstairs window with a long lens.. the station is about 100m away from this point (this is why the trees in the background look closer than they are). Wireless communication to the console working perfectly!
