I post weather data here (http://www.umaine.edu/umext/potatoprogram/alt_format.htm) and here (http://www.umaine.edu/umext/potatoprogram/Current_Vantage_Pro.htm). All this is done with the WL software and it is working fine EXCEPT... anytime I configure the settings to upload 1-Week archive data (downld08.txt) the whole upload bombs out. I remove the report from the profile and all is OK. The downld02.txt, NOAAPRMO.txt and NOAAMO.txt work fine (as does everything else) unless I include the downld08.txt file which causes an abort and no new data.

Below is an example of the download.log:

this OK
01/17/12 12:00p (sbjweatherstation) Upload of Data Upload Profile(s) 2  completed OK.

this has the downld.txt included
01/13/12  4:26p (sbjweatherstation) Upload of Data Upload Profile(s) 2  partially completed. See error messages below.
 01/13/12  4:26p (FTP) Error (0) uploading file "downld08.txt" to location "umext\potatoprogram\C:\WeatherLink\sbjweath\Templates\test\".
01/13/12  4:26p Error (text given below) while uploading file "downld08.txt" to location "umext\potatoprogram\C:\WeatherLink\sbjweath\Templates\test\". WeatherLink will reset the FTP connection and try again.
01/13/12  4:26p (FTP) 550 umext/potatoprogram/C:: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

Help!

I suspect it is the "C:\WeatherLink\sbjweath\Templates\test\" portion of the location is the problem.

While I agree, other files transfers are fine.

I don't get how when no setting are changed except that one more file is uploaded, it crashes.

Befuddled in chilly Maine.
