It's great way to present a local weather page since all the info one might want to know about the local weather and the forecast is presented on one page without any need to scroll or click on another page.  For a minor quibble, I think your local radar image should be made as wide as the column it's in, so it can be easier to see.

That's the current default VWS (Virtual Weather Station) template.  It's heavily integrated with Weather Underground.
