I've heard of raining cats and dogs, and showers of blessings, but apples?   Shocked

I guess Davis will need to add "It's raining Apples" to their weather ticker strings!  Very Happy

My FIL tells the tale of when he was a railroad guard in Angola, sometimes they would get an out-of-the-blue torrential storm that would create a water surface over the plain to the horizon, and when the train would stop, people would get off and pick up little fish, some filling sacks they brought with them.  He said the first time he couldn't believe it, but people got excited during the storm for the train to stop and were clamboring to get outside to pick them up, and this happened a few times while he had that duty.
