I finally narrowed down my camera and software choice, I just can't decide between the option of 420 or 540TVL?

I think the 420 is more than upto the task but it would be nice to have the extra quality from a 540 but I guess that makes the image files much bigger too?

How many TVL does the average webcam have?

I'm hoping some one knows much more about this than I do........
