I have the VWR100 and the outside temperature is way off, like 40+ degrees! Any idea of how to get to work again? Replaced batteries, when I bring inside temp moves but still way off...

I did go in and re"searched" to get the outside unit updated then moved the wind direction to be sure that
i had the right unit displayed.

I seem to now be only 10 degrees too high.

Is it 40 degrees all the time or just when the humidity gets high? I had a similar issue a few years back. The temperature was correct at or below 50% humidity but the higher the humidity the higher the temperature. The temperature sensor inside the sensor maybe cracked. That's what the problem was with my WMR100. Did your sensor unit suffer impact like a drop or a hit or maybe hail?

What did you do about the cracked temperature sensor?
