Shot crossing over the  Fairbanks flood control. Actual clound was  over Eislen AFB  25 miles away.

     Excellent shots!  Shots of clouds with Virga are some of my favorites.  I have a file of them from different web sites and these are up there with the best of them.

Given your quite low temperatures I expect they show snow falling at altitude too.
It's almost like a curtain of precipitation.
