My STR938 solar transmitter connected to my WGR918N Anemometer appears to have had some water in it, I pulled it apart and re-soldered a few connections that looked like they might fail. It now works intermittently, from what I can see it is transmitting regularly but I think it might be drifting in frequency. Signals drop in and out all the time, but I don't believe range between the receiver and transmitter is the issue.

I'm now resigned to the fact that it will probably have to be replaced, but I'm having trouble finding one that will ship to Australia.

Oregon Scientific have them listed on their website, but they wont send anything down under, and I haven't been able to find another retailer that has them in stock.

Is there another type of transmitter that will work with my WGR918N Anemometer ?

Thanks

Matt

I've now managed to get mine going again now, so no need to find one anymore.
