Stargzr/BobbyM, You may want to clean that antique projector. The dust is going to ruin your celluloid.  (Only added sepia. This was my impression watching your cam. Saw the rain turn upward a couple of times too.) Hope you are safe. |

Streaming cam is up and running at www.kingsparkweather.com/wxsnowcam.php . Camera will be up as long as power is up. I mounted a 1000 watt halogen spot about 2 feet away to light the yard during the nightime hours. We'll see how it works out. I guess either you or your provider lost power - last update at 4:50A this morning. Sure hope you're getting thru it all OK KISP shows 60MPH, tornado watch, etc! Sounds like fun times... |

I'm fine, been at work since 10 pm last night and at this point will be here till at least 2 pm this afternoon. We lost power at 2:52. The machine the cameras run on doesn't have an UPS on it. Waiting for a call from my wife as to how her and my boys are doing.

Western edge here storm rain 1.63, still windy. Max gust 39 mph. No trees down near me. No power outages. 100 mile west of Philadelphia. Purchased a cam but not hooked up yet.

Here in Bucks County, PA (30 NW of Philly) got a total so far of about 7.30 inches of rain since it began yesterday late afternoon. Highest wind gust was just under 25mph..Still raining but looks like the eye of Irene is du-East of me now and moving North. Expecting wrap around wind/rain...but not extensive damage in my area.

Lost power here at midnight last night. Have the generator up and running now. We had 5.51 inches of rain so far and it is windier now than at any point in the storm. Hit a gust of 42 a couple of minutes ago for the high so far. Trees down, transformers blown and road covered with water. Its going to be fun here near Allentown, PA for awhile.

Glad you made it through. Your history charts tell the tale, don't they? Thanks for getting them up.
I've been watching the storm all day. We were travelling extensively through that corridor (NY, NJ, Philly, DC, NC) just two weeks ago. I'm glad we didn't delay.
We have family in central NJ still without power and a flooded basement, and they are the evac/rally point for cousins in Manhattan and Staten Island. Others in Atlantic City haven't been reachable. I'll bet that any working phone lines are jammed.
I didn't even look at the barometer chart until you mentioned it... I guess you can tell when Irene passed by... a little bit, LOL. They are pretty good at getting power back on here, it helps that quite a few developments have underground lines, so fixing one spot can power up a lot of people at once. The street parallel to me was only out for a few hours... |

Well, my power is back   Record Barometer set for my station: 29.001" (of course it just wouldn't tip to 28.99"  ) Highest wind gust: 53 mph (not a record but very close) Sustained Winds: I would estimate that we had 35-45mph sustained for about 2-3 hours on Saturday night. Now, on to figuring out how to get WD to correct my rain data as I went over the VP2 24 hour buffer. Michael |

se under control panel, offsets and intitial rain fall setup
in a recent update of WD
