4442 members and 24 votes... Yepp, it's the same every time It will be interesting (to me anyway ) to see how the Non USA station fair in the voting. No complaints but the site contents tend to be location centric which I think will have an effect on the voting.

There may be 4432 members registered, but somewhat less than 400 have been online in the last week (fairly typical).
So 27 voters out of the 250 members who've been online since the poll started is not too bad.
I'm hoping that folks will examine each site in the list and make their decision irrespective of station location, but on the merits of the individual sites.
Best regards, Ken

I voted for the Summer 2011 Featured Weather Website. I was able to visit the sites only two times before voting. That isn't enough time to evaluate the sites. The Fall 2011 poll should start on September 23 and end voting on December 22. With a 3 month evaluation time, we'll be able to see how each nominated site performs over time. Suggestion: site owners should make their equipment list prominent. That's the first thing that I looked for on the site. To evaluate a site, I wish to know how the weather sensors are sited. I'm also looking mostly at content rather than appearance of the site.

I agree that it takes some time to browse through each of the sites, but I think that 3 months is a long time for the voting. I'd like to use 2 to 3 weeks for the Summer, 2011 voting, and I'll start that process just after the Autumn Equinox on Sept 23rd.
I also agree that each site should have an equipment list available on their about page, and sensor placement (wrt the CWOP guidelines) is also a good thing to have available.
Thanks for your suggestions,
Best regards, Ken
