Got the software for Christmas and am ready to install it for my Vantage Pro 2.
I am getting ready to install the data logger and get the console on my Vantage Pro 2 set up. In the manual on page 6,  I am told to remove the batteries and power adapter, but in the following instructions there is no mention of restoring the batteries and power adapter.

Do I put the batteries back in and plug in the adapter at any point or does the USB port supply the power now?

You'll need to replace the batteries and plug in the power adapter.
