Looking for inputs for a decent PTZ IP Camera. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Define "decent". Wink Your decent may be cheap, mine is high quality, big zoom. lotsa features...

I like the Panasonic BB-HCM580A.

I was looking at the Panasonic BB-HCM547.....do you know what the big difference is between the two?

In looking at the pic and specs, the 2 big differences I see are that the 547 is outdoor ready, the 580 requires a housing or shelter for outdoor, and the zoom. The 580 has 21x zoom.

Also, the 580 can be mounted upright or inverted. I can't tell if the 547 is ceiling only. That might limit sky view if you are looking for a weather cam.

You brought up a very point about the ceiling mount.....It will used a WX Camera for most of the time......more R&D........

Brad, which of those two cameras?  Links to both:

Just follow the Download links in the Support box in the upper right.  You will find more PDF info about each camera.
