From what I've found, it appears to be an "Easter Egg" in the Simple Machines Forums code. It appears when you
reach a set number of posts. I don't know if it still exists in the version currently used here.

The term leet, in this context, is geek speak for elite and is used to describe someone who
has achieved a significant level of accomplishment.

Congrats on being l33t, at least for a short while! 8-)
