Dubious Anniversary

   Today 26 June)(saw this late) is an anniversary but not sure it is a good one.  On this date in 1977, Park Ranger Roy C. Sullivan, aka "the Human Lightning Conductor", was struck for the 7th time .  He was first hit in 1942, then 1969, 1970, 1972, 1973, and 1976.  He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the stomach on 28 September 1983 at 71 yrs old.

     I doubt it.  Guinness book of records says he is the record holder.  And, 2 of his hats are on display at Guiness World Record Exhibit Halls in New York and South Carolina.

That guy must have either had some bad karma, or was just plain unlucky!!!

Wow, that's a lot.  I knew a guy who was hit three times and I thought he was unlucky.
