I was wondering what others are doing or some suggestions. I've just started using the meteohub and WD Live. But I like the scripts from Carterlake to fillout the rest of my website; but the plug-in wants data from Weather Display. Is there a way to take the sensor data from Meteohub and get it into one of the plugins? I was trying to avoid running a PC 24/7, and switched to this device. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Does the plug-in use data from clientraw files which the meteohub should be outputting for WDL?

no, it appears it's looking for a file called testtags.php, which WD creates and pushes to the website. The only choice I have with data is a text file or an xml file.; which when I use those through the script, it tells me there is not data.

The meteohub station would need it's own plugin to make it work correctly since meteohub creates only the realtime WD files used with Weather-Display Live. I'll have to investigate the Meteohub docs to see what tags are available for use, and then see what's possible in a plugin.
Best regards, Ken

Hello,
I use the template with meteohub. I adapted the file testtags.php for the update of the ajax-dashboard. Also you will have to make some change in the file ajax-dashboard.php
With the Metohub you must upload to your server the file testtags.html as testtags.php.

I was checking those out and came across the WeatherPlug on Rainmanweather http://www.rainmanweather.com/site/products/WeatherPlug-IPSeems like he's got it squared away on how to update the Carter Lake dashboard http://www.rainmanweather.com/wxplug/Tony

I've got a new Meteohub setup on a Sheeva Plug (WeatherPlug from rainmainweather.com) and am working on creating a MH-plugin for the template set. Should have a test version out early next week We (wife and I) just got back from the Chicago area where we were helping our daughter/husband move into their new home. Still a bit 2-hr-jet-lagged. n.b. The MH-plugin won't use the WD-style testtags.php for inputs, it will use the MHtags.php/MH-defs.php to tie the Meteohub variables to WD-variable names used in the gizmo/dashboard, just like the plugins for VWS, WeatherLink, and Cumulus. That way, the Meteohub native variables will be available in the $WX[] array for use in your own pages if desired. The MH-plugin will use a version of the AJAX script for Weather-Display as Meteohub does create the clientraw*.txt family of files

Hi Marci Anna, and welcome to wxforum.net I'd developed a website template set using PHP (a website programming language) and a JavaScript that adds near-realtime updates to some of the weather conditions displayed on the pages. The initial template set worked only with Weather-Display software, but the Version 3 template sets now work with 4 different weather software programs: Weather-Display, VWS, WeatherLink and Cumulus. The support for each unique software package is contained in what I call a 'plugin' (a .zip file that contains files to use on the website to support that weather software package). Website programming is quite a popular item for weather enthusiasts to be able to easily present the weather conditions from their weather station and weather station software. Hopefully, you'll find it as enjoyable (and somewhat addictive) as you get your station in operation. See the templates at http://saratoga-weather.org/wxtemplates/index.phpBest regards, Ken

I'd be interested in your review of it Ken.

Funny you should ask I've been working on a Meteohub plugin for the templates (see the work-in-progress here). I'd received some wonderful work from Rob of www.rainmanweather.com on getting this started. I've also asked Boris if a new tag set can be added (for authoritative 'yesterday' data). Still in development .. hope to release in a week or so. Thanks for your interest... Best regards, Ken

What is the URL for the new website? Did you generate the graph template, install it in /graphs in Meteohub, then use Manage Graphs to edit the units used?

my new pages are here http://www.gunnarbu.com/varet/index.phpI did generate the graph template, I think, but I might likely have done something wrong. I uploaded the template files to /graphs in Meteohub and I edited the units, but obviously I have missed something

When I generate the files, tdpb2day.mg, windrose.mg, windrain2day.mg get a .txt extension when downloading them on my mac, I remove the .txt part before copy them to MeteoHub, but still only 0 kb file size both on FTP and local copy
