Hi Everyone,

I'd like to add graphs and updated data for my Indoor temps but am not sure how to alter the template. Through the gui I can choose to upload the images and when viewing the ftp data, I can see the info is getting uploaded. However, I guess it's my assumption that this portion of the program will alter the .htx file. I can load the file up in an editor and see that I might be able to make the changes I so choose but am looking for confirmation of the correct method.

Or perhaps there's also a location somewhere that I can download a use an altered .htx file\template.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Bruce

Copy the .htx file you want to modify and use NVU or similar HTX editor to change it.  MS Frontpage works too.  NVU is a free editor with WYSIWYG view screen and raw code view.  Be prepared to handle little bits carefully.  And don't use a non-HTX aware editor unless you like frustration.

If you like the look of this:  http://www.thecoys.net/weather/inside/Inside_Vantage_Pro_Plus.htm

... then you can view the page source with your browser, save the source as .htx, and modify as necessary (to take out my logo, etc.)

If that doesn't make sense or is too complex for you, then perhaps somebody else can help.

Perfect, thanks.  I'll take a look at editing it.  Should be a good exercise in HTML.
