We're having a very unseasonal Autumn heatwave here at the moment, we've had consistant North-westerly winds for the last few days now. And in my area Northerly winds mean Hot conditions & NW'lies mean Very Hot conditions.

Today was the hottest day of the year so far, peaking at a maximum of 34.2C (93.6F), with an unbelievably high heat index of 47C (116F).

North-westerly winds for you puts that just about the direction from us. At the moment we're near peaked out for todays temps @ 37 (98). Plenty to go around, enjoy!  Wink

Not much different here in Brisbane. Hottest day in ages. Broke my highest temperature record today 36.9C (98.4 F).    The hot westerlies kicked in around 11am are still blowing. Reported to be 8 C abover average for this time of the year and will probably get a thunderstorm tomorrow.

A man with a thermometer always knows the temperature. A man with two thermometers, not so sure.

37C, far out, 34C here the last few days is high enough. Our maximum temperature's should be back to 30 or below from tomorrow, so that should be good. Looking like we may start to get some cooler nights by the end of next week too.
