I was just wondering if NOAA transmitted the tsunami warning alert to weather radios? I never received an alert on my radio. The regular broadcast had info on the warning but my alert never went off. Just wondering if I have an issue with my radio. Thanks.

Where are you located? The "warning" extended from the Oregon border to Point Conception, and was an "advisory" south of that.

My Reecom R-1650c lists tsunami warning, tsunami watches in the manual. I have that turned off live in Ohio that would be major if the Atlantic got over the Appalachian Mountains.  Wink

And is your radio configured to decode SAME messages for Mendocino, or just Lake county?

Yes. I rechecked this and confirmed that it is set correctly. Just wrote NOAA and asked if that specific station had broadcast the warning. Will see what they say. Thanks.
