How do I add "Rain Last Hour" to my home page underneath "Rain Today"?
Thanks
Will
I'm confused... your dashboard is already showing that Best regards, Ken

Well, with recoding, anything is possible However, what is currently displayed is what was required by METEOalarm.eu for permission to repost the data. The comment inside get-meteoalarm-warning.php has the correspondence that gives permission and stipulates what has to be done Date: Thu, 11 Sep 2008 11:39:52 +0200 From: karin buchauer <karin.buchauer at zamg.ac.at> Organization: zamg Dear Mr True, you are quite right: you can use the material featured on the website, without modifying it, providing the source (link) as well as time and date of issue of the data, as stipulated in the Terms & Conditions. With best regards, Karin Buchauer Ken True schrieb: > Dear Sirs, > > I am an amateur weather enthusiast who also writes scripting for other weather enthusiasts to incorporate weather data into their personal, non-commercial weather websites. Is that correct? > > Is it ok with you for me to generate a script for displaying national/regional weather alerts using your data from www.meteoalarm.eu with the appropriate attribution. > > Please feel free to examine other scripts I've written which use NOAA, Environment Canada, US Geological Services, and temis.nl as data sources ( http://saratoga-weather.org/scripts.php ). > > Thank you in advance for your response, > > Best regards, > Ken True > webmaster at saratoga-weather.org > Saratoga, California, USA -- Karin Buchauer Assistant to the Project Manager EMMA Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik Regionalstelle für Salzburg und Oberösterreich Freisaalweg 16 A - 5020 SALZBURG karin.buchauer at zamg.ac.at www.zamg.ac.atSo... it's clear you can modify the script, but then you'd be in violation of the terms and conditions of the reuse of the data. Regrets, Ken

Hi Ken,
All I want to do is put a line space "<br>" between the "METEOalarm.eu Weather warnings: South West" and the graphics.

Ahh... that seems to not violate the T&Cs  Change get-meteoalarm-warning.inc.php from print "<h1>$EUAregionName</h1>\n";
to print "<h1>$EUAregionName</h1>\n<br/>\n";
and that should do it. Best regards, Ken

I'd have to see it on your website to comment on how it might be fixed .. sorry I couldn't drop in earlier to see it in action on your site. Generally, the METAR report produces the 'Thunderstorm' word when decoded, and there are multiple METAR codes that are mapped to that interpretation ('TS', 'CB', and 'TCU' all map that way). Best regards, Ken

Hi Ken,
hmmm don't think there is a chance of a thunderstorm today. Is there a file I can access like "get-metar-conditions.txt"?

When it happens next time, just copy the raw metar string from the bottom of the wxmetar.php display for the metar that is showing the issue .. then I'll have something to debug with

Hi Ken,
Is there any way I can force it to show that as thunderstorms round here happen on average 5 times a year!
I'd have to be waiting quite a while.

Hi Ken, I've done this. $SITE['overrideRain'] = true; // =true then rain rate will set rain words instead of METAR rain words To this... $SITE['overrideRain'] = false; // =true then rain rate will set rain words instead of METAR rain words That seemed to sort the no space issue. Will
