Hello all,
I would like to know how I can configure VWS to stop/disable all FTP'ing, that includes WX underground. What I do is have VWS update my templates and then use my own FTP software to upload the data files, therefore I dint need any assistance from VWS. I removed the FTP Login, but I still get a pop-up box telling me to enter my password. Does anybody know how I can disable ALL FTP'ing within VWS. All information will be greatly appreciated.

Ciao

FWIW, the WeatherUnderground upload from VWS isn't FTP, it's HTTP.

In the Internet/HTML settings, turn off the update timer, and set the html filename to point to a local drive and folder, and use your FTP program to send from there.

For the images, in Internet/FTP Jpeg settings/FTP Automated Schedule, set the slider to No Update scheduled.

In Settings/Jpeg File Settings, set the local drive and folder for the images, and have your FTP program send them from there.

FWIW, I use WebDrive for this. WebDrive maps FTP sites to drive letters, so VWS THINKS it's saving the HTML and Jpegs to a local drive, but they are actually FTPed to my server.
