Webcam XP and Audio
« on: August 24, 2009, 07:54:27 PM »
I'm currently using Webcam XP on a Windows XP Media Center (SP 3) machine to broadcast live streaming video to a webpage of my own creation. I'm using the copy/paste HTML code that is produced by Webcam XP. The issue is that it has a section to select the "audio source," but when I visit the page, there is no audio being produced. Doesn't this software stream audio, as well? And if so, what in the world am I doing wrong? Can you help?

My page is available at http://www.alan-fuller.com/cams/cam.html

I have the same problem with Webcamxp 5 and 7.. neither seem to allow the audio on the actual live web page.. i dont know why?

The older ones worked fine.. i've connected the audio sources correctly etc..

Any thoughts?

What do you have as your input source in the Windows Sound Control Panel?  Start there first.
