Can you let us know what you did to make that? I've been wanting to stream the local WX radio, but I'd rather just post an audio file similar to yours.

Good work.

Still working on getting some basic issues resolved, and then the decimal/period pause in English language. I will post result.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your interrest for our weather audio pages.

After trying poor quality mp3 audio messages generators, I found responsivevoice and tried their API with Serge F1LXJ.

It is by far the best quality audio obtained right now, but our audio pages need the responsivevoice website to be up in order to work, since the script use to call routines on it. We allready got an issue for a few days when their website was down.

Your help will be appreciated to provide us well formated English sentences with the right words. And for the time and data formats as well.
I will follow your work with interrest.

Note the French Female voice is excellent on a Windows PC but a little agressive on Ipad or Iphone.

Thanks for the link info....this is pretty interesting.

At least in the US Female voice, if you set the rate to 0 - sounds like they have had a little too much to drink!

Made some good progress http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/meteo_audio.html

Thanks Serge and Marcel for your idea, and Mark Crossley for your help in improving the English code and pronunciations.

Enjoy,
Paul

Hi Paul,

I made some progress too for the English message. It was a little bit tricky, since here, all Cumulus datas are formated with a comma in place of the dot for you. In order to use the script created by Mark (I'm always amazed by his ability to generate quickly code lines in any language =D>), I had to use alternative tags ie <#RCtemp> in place of <#temp> where the dot can be processed as a point. Sorry for my poor level in English.

Well, the most important part of the script is ready. Curiously, the <#RCapptemp> does not exist. I tried a Math.round on it, but it does not do the job.

Math.round worked for <#RCpress> and so, I have the pressure given by only a value without decimal, as does the guy in the control tower when you ask him for the latest met report.

Your comments are welcome and, if you wish, I will try to help you to adapt the message in French.

Hi Marcel, you can use your comma decimal variables, but you need to convert them to dot decimal for the code as JavaScript doesn't understand comma decimal numbers. If you need this just ping me on the Cumulus forum.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your help. I cannot do this conversion in javascript and so I posted for you a request on Cumulus.
It does not hurry ! You have so much to do :-)
