My Bloomsky is at https://map.bloomsky.com/weather-stations/eaB1rJytnZSmmaar and have been playing with the location but not easy with snow cover and/or frozen ground.

How do I add others as a favourite or get others to add mine?  Do I need to do that on the App or is there a page I can go to to add others?

Another dumb question; on my Yesterday video from about 10:20 am to 11:30 am there is a small white dot coming from the 1:00 o'clock position going down to the 7:00 o'clock (until clouds obscure it).  I see the dot there again today, and have also seen something similar on other site but going in an upper direction.  Am I exposing secret missions!

Enjoying,
Paul

That's an interesting feature.  Were you alerted on your phone about the errors?

No, no notification about it but did see it on the dashboard.  The messages are still showing up on the dashboard even after a restart.  Not sure if I have an problem or not at this point.

I noticed on closer inspection there is green oxidation across the copper sensors.  I'm roughly a mile from the ocean so hopefully this doesn't cause a long term issue.

You add stations on the app. Hit the "world" icon, then search By Device Name. enter in the name of the station you want. When it finds it and you confirm it is the one you want, hit the star icon.

The white dot.... maybe the sun?

Copper does naturally oxidize. I would think that would have taken that into consideration.

The green color is normal and should cause no issues.  It's covered in one of their FAQs.

Yes the white dots moving with the sun are usually sun flare.  However on certain days I did capture the planets which was cool!

Thanks.  What confused me was that the dot travelled in the opposite direction to the sun movement, and on the other site it traveled upwards.

You add stations on the app.
I guess I am going to have to get an access schedule to my wife's iPad, or she gets a new one #-o

Paul, your link isn't set up correctly on your post. It should be this: https://map.bloomsky.com/weather-stations/eaB1rJytnpS4rpWo

Image looks good as does the previous day time-lapse. Although I notice you had the same issue I did - the first few frames of the initial time-lapse show a view inside your home...  #-o

I've made favorites of all the sites in this thread. Now it's your turn to favorite me please.

The location is temporary, but will have to do until after the rain moves out early next week.

Anthony, I am pretty sure those first few frames are when my unit was inside and when I carried it outside.

I thought I had many added but only a few as the others were only Cities I favourited.  Still haven't got the hang of it completely ](*,)  but will keep trying.

Thanks,
Paul

Thanks for correcting my location url.
However I am not getting it for adding favourites    I've got a couple added (don't know how these actually worked) as most fail or only get the City as a favourite.

I click on the (world map) when it is black
in search block enter the station name that I see when I click on the station site (using the given url) i.e. Halethorpe WX
press search and usually nothing shows up but sometimes it gets to the station site.
then I click on the station circle
then when I press favourite it usually gets the City not the Bloomsky site, or most of the timers I get nothing further.

Sorry to be so dumb on this guys...  any simple step by step?  I would like to add the friendly and helpful folks' sites

Got you added, Paul.

On finding folks, I have been opening the link posted here in a new tab, then going to the app, touch the world, then type the city, state, or country in and go from there. I have been finding them based on their temp in the bubble, and if it matches whats in the tab, I'll add them.

To add them to the Favorites in the app, touch the correct one, it will show up at the bottom of the map with a camera picture. Touch the picture, and it will go full screen. There should be a blue/white star in the lower right corner. Tap the star and you've added it to the list.

Hope that helps,

John

Just went to look at all of my favorites and found all have been wiped out.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I had about 19 in there.

Going to contact BloomSky before I enter all of you again. Can any of you check and see if I am still on your list of people that favored you?

Thanks,

Joe

Thanks for that info Nincehelser I see there are more posts in their help/faq section now.
A quick wipe with a soft cloth seemed to clean it fine.
