lightning hits tree - then arced to ip camera , traveled 300 ft up to house through cat 5 underground into switch , took out 5 ip cameras , led tv , graphics card , 2 monitors , and more ...

That's a serious bummer. I had lightning hit my house about three years ago, and it knocked EVERY shelf off in the entire house. I was actually outside the house grabbing my mini generator for the freezer when it hit. I've never been so blinded nor so 'blinded' by sound!
