Just got that email newsletter too...
well I don't know, I must say I don't think this is too competitive. There are many other services that show similar info and are for free and this one does not come that cheap...

My page link is Design 2 which I like better than design 1 http://stationsweb.awekas.at/info/index_en.html (http://stationsweb.awekas.at/info/index_en.html)
Also looks like Webcam and Gallery are also included (in the design 1 demo).
Enjoy,
Paul

Nice attitude :D :D :D
But yes, I agree with you in this particular case, this although nice, is nothing really extra and I know much better sites that offer you the same thing for free. If at least it was a one-off payment, but 3.50 euros per month? And also taking into account I am actually sending them my data for free.... it is basically as if WU now offered their dashboard for 5 bucks a month... I don't think that would be very profitable...

almost the same thing in my email

I just signed up. I had to put the "agree to the terms" which were in German into a translator instead of blindly checking the box.
I did notice that "East" on the wind rose is shown as an "O". Google Translate shows "East" as being "Osten" in German. Interesting that in Spanish Oeste is West. Hmm...

Don't worry about it :D
Ost is East in German...
btw. in Czech "S" is North ;)

The AWEKAS logo that is part of the menubar also takes you directly to the full page.

It actually surprises me even more that this thing is paid service, yet they still include their logos, links etc.
I would understand it if it was the case that free version had this and paid version had this removed, then it would make sense...

Well done Greg. But I liked the other design ;)
Is it charged immediately or is it a trial until Jan 10?

EDIT: heres what i sent to them...
Nice layout...but i surely wont pay for this...
I think that,US,data provider, should get this for free ...
Are we (all the users around the world) selling our datas to you Awakas ?
cheers
thats what they replied to me...
I think this is a misunderstanding.
AWEKAS is and will be free. All maps, instrument panel and currently used pages are free. AWEKAS Stationsweb is an additional feature. It will offer anyone to provide his own weather website without any programming. It can be adjusted for each own wishes.

I decided that the "alternate" design fit in the iframe better, so I went with it. I liked the default one too but it didn't lend itself to integration as well.
On the trial vs. pay, I didn't even check that. Sorry. I just went with it.
