24 hour rain stopped at the start of the year
« on: January 01, 2011, 07:37:42 AM »
Happy New Year

I just got up to read my CoCoRHaS gauge and noticed that my 24 Hour Rain "tank" & "graph" are showing 0.00"
The 24 Hour Rain value for my web page is also showing 0.00"

It's been raining most of the morning and all other precipitation values are correct (0.30" since midnight, 0.13" in the past hour)
It looks like the 24 Hour graph reset to 0.00" at midnight (the end of the year) and it hasn't moved since then. I am able to read the 24 Hour Rain on the console.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with V14.00P64? ... or any other version? Is this something which has been fixed in a later version?
I did try restarting the software, but it was no help. I tried removing and re-displaying the "tank" & "graph", but that was also no help.

Happy New Year!
Mike

I don't usually run the Daily graph but I put one up and its looking like it is working here as it has been raining and is showing 0.14 on my graph this morning.

My Daily graph is still working, it's my 24 Hour Rain graph (A.K.A. "Yesterday Rain") which has stopped.

Thanks
Mike

I see that "Mark / Ohio" is showing 0.00" for 24 hour rain on his site also, and I believe he is using a newer version.
I guess I'll see what happens on January 2nd.

My 24-hour rain has stopped registering also.  The Davis console shows 0.57" rain for 24-hours but VWS has 0.00.  This has never happened before in the time I have had the station.    Version  14.00  p45

DITTO (Y2011 problem?) But my attempts to post that have failed - don't know what is happening with the internet - wunderground sidebar gadget keeps trying to show Fri/Sat/Sun, with Friday's high listed as "N/A" (ocassionaly it says "please check your internet connection")

Well, at least this little glitch won't cause people to be late for work Monday, like some iPhone users http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20110102/tc_afp/lifestyleitinternettelecomapple_20110102181735
