Eastern Washington Fire Smoke...
« on: August 23, 2015, 12:12:36 AM »
Today, the wind lightened up a bit in Eastern Washington and actually changed directions a bit.  Now it is coming over the mountains toward us.  NWS issue a Smoky Weather Advisory this afternoon.  Personally, I am thankful this is happening.  The folks over there have suffered like never before.  The stories are heartbreaking.  So, if we can take some of their smoke... I am glad it's coming this way.  This morning it came over Western Washington like a major front.  My cams caught some pretty cool stuff.  Cliff Mass from the University of Washington and Scott Sistek from KOMO (ABC) in Seattle contacted me early requesting time lapses.  Rather than showing just the time lapses, I'll share the articles which use images and videos I provided.  They are both incredible weather resources in our area.

Scott Sistek's Blog:

Thought I'd Share....
