I received a notice that this software is 55% off today and tomorrow.

It is now $99 for the F5Data application.

It looks interesting.

I currently use the basic version of F5Data and I love it!  I missed the sale for $99 but I am still debating whether or not to buy it at full price.

Do either of you two know whether I can paste a weather map image from F5 data to my website, or if I can paste it to paint that way I can draw on the map??

If you have the professional version of f5 data, then you can upload it directly to your website through ftp.  It will allow you to upload certain images every so often to your website.

Hope this helps!

No, unfortunately not.  You need to have the professional version of f5 data which costs $220 a year or $20 a month. :-(

I missed this thread initially too, but it sounds like there will be one final opportunity.

Don't forget the last opportunity to get our professional weather forecasting software F5Data for LIFE. Our last, one-day only sale is going to be New Year's Eve December 31st. Mark your calendar so you don't miss out on this last opportunity to get the service for life.
The latest version just released has the long-waited 'Favorites' to display your favorite maps with one click.

I saw that earlier. So what's the cost REALLY going to be? I hate to have to subscribe to too many things.

I use the free version. It's ok, it would be nice to have more models (guessing the non-free versions have more). It's nice to carry around on my laptop though.

Same here... The free version is still a decent software program, as is the Weather Radar Toolkit v 3

I just downloaded today Very good program I like it because of thunderstorm action during the summer because of CAPE and lift index for thunderstorm action and tornadoes too. Here is my first map I created with the program.tonight lows wind speed and wind chill.

Farmtalk, All you have to do it press "print screen" on your keyboard when viewing the F5Data map you're interested in (or anything for that matter) and that'll automatically copy that image to your clipboard, then simply open Paint, and paste it in. Then you can crop, draw on it, save it etc

That what you mean?

Hi
Draw your map out as you normaly do. Use print screen key on the keyboard and use a photo editing program like Ifranview and crop the image and save it as a gif.

just press print screen once while viewing what you want to copy, try it now, literally right now, just press it once quickly. Now open paint, and paste it in, either ctrl+v or by using paste in the menu. You can do that with virtually anything. If it does not work for some reason, try your f-lock (or scroll lock, one of those keys we hardly ever use can alter it) key, then try the process again.

Scott

Edit: Keyboard shortcuts are amazing sometimes Farmtalk, there's many for many different applications. Fahrenheit symbol, as in it was 84° here today, simply Alt+248 on the number pad will make a Fahrenheit° symbol.

Have fun :D
