It looks like the Western Region of NOAA's NWS website (
www.wrh.noaa.gov) which has been quite different from the other NWS regions (ERH, SRH, CRH), has finally adopted the same basic design and function and Icons as the rest of the regions.
For those folks in the Western Region (in CA, NV, AZ, UT, ID, MT, OR, WA) who have been using my wrh-icon set with the get-nws-forecast-test.php script, you can now use the Carterlake advforecast2.php script instead.
If you start from
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/ and find your city, and the point-printable forecast starts with
http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/forecast/MapClick.php?
then the old get-nws-forecast-test.php script won't work.. you'll need to use the advforecast2.php script instead. You should update your site to use this as I don't know how much longer
www.wrh.noaa.gov will support the old format printable forecasts that my wrh script used.
Script:
http://saratoga-weather.org/scripts-carterlake.php#advforecastDon't forget to
download Tom's icon set and upload it in the /forecast/images directory on your website.
Looks like there only needs to be one script for NWS forecast nationwide now, thanks to the WRH website changes.
Best regards,
Ken
