Fixing bad weather data
« on: July 07, 2013, 08:05:24 PM »
Hello,

I just finished mounting my rain gauge on my anemometer pole, and in the process jiggled it enough to record .50 inches of rain.

Does anyone know what I can do to "fix" this discrepancy with WU, CWOP, etc? Even my HW if possible. How can I subtract today's "rain" from my station and other sites?

For weather underground you should be able to look at the tabular daily data for your station and delete the bad reports.
