After more than 70 tornadoes across the South, January 2012 is going down as one of the most active months of January for tornadoes on record!

That is usually what happens during these warm winters around here. We get the warm moist air out of the gulf and then a cold front moves through. We call this the second tornado season. I think Scalphunter is keeping all the cold air up in Alaska.

Tonight:
The forecasted low of 53° is 27 degrees warmer than the NOAA average low of 26°
