Having an odd problem this morning.  My Mk III stopped reporting to Rainwise.net, CWOP and PWS sometime around 1:00 am this morning BUT is still reporting to Weather Underground and when I left for work my Oracle display was working fine.  Weather information is transmitted over the Internet by an IP-100.  Never seen this problem before, any thoughts?  I'm at work so I can't reboot the IP-100 just now.  Thanks.

CWOP is posting and is current, but as you say PWS and Rainwisenet are not up to date.

Is there a difference between CWOP and my page on "findu"?  I see my graphs on my findu EW7173 page are there, but they have been flat-lining for several hours.

When I go to http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/wxpage.cgi?call=EW7173

I see:

Last report from EW7173 received 4 minutes 53 seconds ago

But I missed the flatlining, sorry. I was on the default scale and didn't see it at first. When I use the 12hr view, it is clearly flatlined data. But it is trying to upload....

I had a RainWise failure also at the same time. I couldn't log into my IP-100 and I had many unusual messages when I was finally able to login to my IP-100 on the IP ADMIN page. The time is askew, I have no radio data messages, WU seems to have come back on line but it's a complete mess it seems. I was surprised when I checked the WXForum earlier today that there hadn't already been comments. WU said I went off-line at something near maybe 12:55 AM and back online maybe 6:50 or close.

I'm feeling much better about the situation now that I know I'm not alone. I had emailed RainWise earlier today and hadn't and still haven't had a response but I'd guess they're likely busy.

When I log into my IP-100 using the admin/admin, the clock is stuck at 7:33 and the information at various locations is reporting the values that are displayed at that time and haven't updated since. CWOP is one I did check. No others.

ggsteve's RW.net shows timed at 3:25 AM and on-line, mine shows NO RADIO SIGNAL and is timed at 12:55 AM. If you wait until it loads it displays the information at that time but at WU it seems to be correct when compared to my Davis VP2 on a MeteoHub.

Rainwise was working on their Rainwisenet server recently.  All appears to have caught up.

I wonder how many users that are "early risers" thought like I did that I had a problem with maybe my IP-100. I was certainly inclined to think it was a failure on my end until I noticed that their DEMO wasn't working also. I must say "I was certainly scratching my head also" for quite some time.

I checked here on the WXF expecting to see more mentions and much earlier than the original post to this thread. Not seeing any was convincing me that it was likely a problem on my end. I have no idea what time of day things "normalized" but it was certainly a welcome sight last evening when I returned home to see everything working.

Is there any ALARM that can be set that would notify "users" that there's a NETWORKING" issue.

Very early in the AM I sent an email to RW with a couple "screen-shots" of my network display page but never did receive a return email. I'm sure mine was one of the multitude that they received but it might be a thought on their part to maybe post a problem like they had or if it were "normal maintenance" to the WXF to be passed on.

RW did post a Twitter comment that they were having server problems early on with the problem and stated they may have to update servers.
RainWise.net is on Twitter and a good information source for software updates, etc.

I'm NOT a Twitter user and don't see that it should be a "spot where" I need to go to get information. Thanks for passing that on but a message on the website OR  an email alarm or something to "paid" IP-100 subscribers I would think is maybe a more "reasonable" place to keep users informed.

Make sure you let Rainwise (Wayne) know of your concerns.
