I installed Radio Skypipe on this desktop computer, plugged the flat plate transducer into it and have been running it for a few minutes.
Here's a cropped screen grab of 2 minutes of recording in a rain of ~0.10"/hour.

X axis is unknown units related to the sound intensity into the sound card, Y axis is time in UTC.
