Are the current conditions weather stations available in MADIS the same as those you can access from other NWS APIs like
https://w1.weather.gov/xml/current_obs/STATION ? Or does MADIS provide access to more stations (and more specifically, finer geographic granularity)?
MADIS seems quite legacy - using Fortran programs to handle exchange of data. Is it being phased out or being replaced with a more modern API (even if in beta)?
