We had a nice Northern Lights event last night.

wow I would die to get a shot like that, just recently got a Hiki IP setup on the main mast, getting some nice sunset shots, but you have surpassed anything I've seen - Thanks for sharing Greg - Awesome.

I think tonight should produce some intense displays as the K-index as peaked at 8 that I haven't seen for years, at present there is an incredible radio aurora across Europe signals reaching south eastern part of Europe at 144mnz that doesn't often happen there mostly confined to north Europe..I'm sure as the day progresses in North America it will be a an impressive event .  Oh to live a bit further north ..brian

Unfortunately we have gone from dense smoke to clouds....  Haven't seen the sky for days now....  8.33 Kp and it's either daylight, smoke from wildfires or cloud cover.... and while we are at it... Let's throw in a full moon too.... :cry:
