It would appear that HTML links are now allowed in your status message on WU. This is great as I use it to provide a link to my own Weather Server. This is very nice!

I put one in the status message long ago.

Yes, I have had one for years there as well, but it just recently became clickable.

Besides the summary fields going blank once again, I noticed the system status message isn't working either.

I guess I should have kept my mouth shut. This feature has been disabled now. Thanks, WU... :-P

It's actually a good idea to NOT allow raw HTML be posted in open comment fields. Miscreants can use it to embed a <script>...</script> and run malicious code on the browser of anybody who stops by the page. I applaud them for closing this security loophole.
It's the reason we don't allow raw HTML on the forum posts either.. just BBcode tags which are converted to HTML by the forum software.

I can see where that could be problematic. They do allow a link in the " About this PWS" link. I guess the design is for it to be a status message. My bad.

They actually fixed this for me. It works now. These guys are great! Thank you!
