Firmware Programmer
« on: November 19, 2009, 01:00:19 PM »
Well even though I have manually changed the time change into my consoles here at work in the past I decided to rent the firmware updater and get it over. Both my Envoy and the university's Envoy updated with software through the data logger just fine, my used console at home and one console here at work give the error "no boot file found" so I can't update them and their date is previous to the Nov 2005 date. I called Davis and they got me all set up. I asked what was the turn around time in getting it back to them and the support guy said ...oh about a month....! Cool. He wasn't worried probably because the programmer is now about obsolete.

Just out of curiosity - do you have a mixed set of Original VP and VP2 equipment?  If so, the same updater will not work with both types - there are two updaters.

Not that it matters now, of course.
