I've received notes from several folks in Canada about the recent change (today) to the Environment Canada forecast website.

Yes, I know the current script is broken.. I'm in the process of preparing an update to the script which should be available later today.

Sorry to tag on to an old thread but, is it EC that has made changes yet again? http://www.komokaweather.com/komokaweather-ca/wxforecast.php
I have checked a couple other Canadian sites and while they do not show the error message, the forecast is not showing correctly http://dw7240.com//Base-Canada/wxforecast.php.

Sigh... yes, they changed the website to use chunked+gzip returns where it was only gzipped.

Ok, got it fixed with a 3.04 update to handle the chunked+gzipped response from Environment Canada website.  They previously only used a gzipped response but decided the compressed output needed chunking too.  Go figure...

Standalone users: download from the script page
Saratoga template users: use the update tool page with a query of Base-Canada, Plugin-*, 14-Dec-2015

If the EC persists in offering responses with both chunked and gzipped format, then only the 3.04 version will work.  If they drop the chunking (and keep to gzipped only), then the V3.03 will work again.  V3.04 will handle either case

Time for an update to V3.05 of ec-forecast.php -- the EC changed the verbiage about temperature forecasts, so the update is needed to display the temps..
