Title: real time wind speed on website
Post by: metzeric on November 06, 2018, 12:16:55 PM
Since we have a  lot of high wind warnings here  i wanted to have the website update faster showing all of the wind gusts instead of it showing only 1 change every 2.5 seconds.   So i got a peet ultimeter as a 2nd station  which updates in real time (sometimes updates 4-5 times per second)  Hooked up a usb cam and edited my ajax dashboard and it works perfectly !!
Check it out and let me know what you think.

Cool, if you don't mind having to buy a new weather station.

I absolutely love this. I’ve always had an obsession with real time wind speed. I have an old ultimeter 2000 from Peet. Love watching the super fast updates on windy days!

I may have to upgrade when I can and do this for my website. Great idea and it works flawlessly! Good job!
