Sry for the readers of this thread, because majority of them dont involved in this topics...
Hi Relko,
Thank you for the additional clarifications. I am an "old" member of the blitzortung community, I hope, I know and try to follow our rules. The rationality behind the limitations of the accessibitity of the high resolution data, dont allow to make money from the products, based on the working of a volutary community. Become a member, means you have a working sensor site, and upload data to the network,s central server. In this case you can access to all the informations and data. I think, these are acceptable rules.
Mybe you know in such a community time to time come up some new idea, parts of it has chance to become reality, majority havent it. Some of my fall in this category.
Ofcourse, I understand, that a software company, who develop special softwares based on another, own rules. We need to accept this different rules.
About the topic of use mobile phone in context the lightning phenomens:
I can say, in the last some weeks, 3 or more new android apps appeared, to display the blitzortung data, and, mybe you follow the parallel thread about the nice new android app, display data from Boltek detectors and use the data format produced by your Nextorm sw.
If you look around on the google Market, you can see there are some softwares, used the phone as a personal lightning detectors. Majority of this - recently - use only the simple physic rules to try to detect the local lightning flashes. But I have the feeling, such a mobile phone,s hw-s have more, sophisticated capabilities, sensors and processing power, to become a better personal lightning detector. Maybe, this is the future path, and I think, follow such fuzzy discussions about this topics, has some usefull consequences to a member of a company, as yours.
