Hola All,
Recently moved to a 2 floors detached condo on an outlying island off Hong Kong, and treated ourselves to our very first weather station.
A simple pic... 1 single click, and I managed a shot with a slightly deceptive angle.
The Acurite 5-in-1 unit is actually not above the roof but located higher and in front of it. The whole thing is secured on a steel pipe with some sort of PVC covering. The 2 holding fixtures are soldered to a solid metal frame. Very sturdy, and absolutely plum with zero flex. Roughly 30m above sea level.

Clear view in all directions.
The open South China Sea is a mere 300m away. Dominant wind directions are apparently S in Summer, and N in winter.
The dreaded typhoons will come straight from the South, previous direct hits are known to have wrecked the whole place... the 5-in-1 is not my immediate concern and I look forward to strong readings in a kind of way !
All sensors seem to be well-calibrated and no misbehaviour.
boink!
