Here are a couple of pics of the station, I have the sensor about 7 ft off the ground in the middle of the yard, working good so far.

Only one suggestion, you may want to paint that pole gloss white. On still/calm sunny days you could "see" the pole heat rising and your temp sensor is at the top of the pole.
