Questions for Sangean CL100 owners
« on: December 29, 2013, 08:41:03 AM »
Hello,

I'm considering this unit.

What does the Weather On slide switch indicate?  On = standby mode?  Does it effect the Weather button?

Is the lcd display always on?

Thanks

Jim

Weather on puts the radio in a mode to receive weather alerts.

LCD display is always on.  Usually with the time of day.
Current setup: Davis Vantage Pro 2 Plus Wireless
Weather radios:
Reecom R-1650
Sangean CL-100
Uniden Home Patrol I

I finally got this unit.  Great radio.

The lcd display CAN be turned off and stay off until a button is pressed.

In brightness menu, set it off.  Now, the save time menu value will count down and turn off the display.
