My webcam and weather station are located at an elevation of about 6700 feet in the Foothills above Boulder, Colorado. The webcam is pointed in a Easterly direction with a view of the Plains. Denver International Airport is near the center (but about 50 miles away) and the City of Denver to the right in the field of view. The webcam operates 24/7. A combination of software and hardware automatically constructs and uploads Time-lapse movies of the weather continuously, 24/7. The time interval covered by the movies are 3 hours and 24 hours. I have written some custom Python code to adjust the exposure of the Raspberry Pi Camera to make the day-night transitions (almost) seamless. The cloud formations and weather here make for some spectacular photos and videos. Because the camera is pointed East, the Sunrise photos can be spectacular. The websites also contain some wild animal videos (Bears Mountain Lions etc.,) that I have taken.ENJOY!
