Heathkit 4001 wanted.
« on: August 25, 2015, 03:02:01 PM »
This Christmas I want to add a Heathkit 4001 to my collection. Does anyone have a Heathkit they would like to sell?

How much would they go for?
I live in an apartment and for the moment am not a home weather watcher.

I am a storm chaser.

Bought a 4001 display unit without the sensors on eBay for 60$. I'm looking to buy piece by piece.

I think I might know a few guys who have the wind unit. Once I get the anemometer/vane I'll be looking for the temperature and then rain gauge.

If anyone here has Heath Kit sensors to sell, let me know.

There's no rain accessory on the 4001 unless you are wanting to add the 1790 or 1795 to go with it. From a matching pair perspective, I'd go with the 1790.
