Wrong forecast date - Weather34 HomeStation
« on: August 09, 2018, 03:21:43 AM »
I created a website using the Weather34 template pulling data from my Meteobridge, and everything seems to be working good so far, except the forecast and current conditions from Dark Sky.  It's showing the forecast for the end of May for some reason. I have checked and double checked that my API key is correct and even tried resetting the key and entering the new one. Dark Sky's site says there have been no API calls apart from me manually typing in the url into chrome to verify that it works, and it does pull the correct info then, just not on the Weather34 template.

good morning

please always provide a url via pm or here .. impossible to diagnose anything without something to work with.

likely cause is stationcron.php is not running in the meteobridge panel . however a url will confirm this ..brian

check now i just run the stationcron.php.. you need to setup the stationcron.php in meteobridge itself either run every 15, 30 or 60 minutes 30 minutes is good enough for most locations

go here scroll down to Part 2 . Setting up the services .

https://weather34.com/homeweatherstation/guides/setupmeteobridge.html

Part 2 . Setting up the services .

stationcron.php file exports mysql data to csv file every 15 minutes for daily running charts, also updates forecast,a-index,earthquake data every 15 minutes

1.select services tab

2.goto new and select service from the drop down and choose HTTP REQUEST

3.goto select event type and choose PERIODICALLY

4.set the stationcron.php url to run every 15 minutes ..

I somehow missed the second part of that page, Thanks. Looks good and doing the test on meteobridge page causes the time to update on the forecast, so looks like all's good now. Also added http requests for those other 2 php files as well.

Thanks man.
