Topic: WS-2902A with Ambient Software

I recently purchased a WS-2902A to replace a 15 year old Oregon Scientific station.  I would like to use the Ambient Software (VWS) I purchased when I started using the OS station years ago, it is the upgrade to the internet version.  The drop down for stations does not list the WS-2902A.  Is anyone using the WS-2902A with the Ambient Software?  Which station did you use in the drop down?  I know there is new software but I like the look of the old version and would like to continue using it.

Not compatible with the WS-2902A. If you want to run software you should look at WeeWx and use the interceptor driver.

Here is the compatible systems with VWS:

All Davis Weather Stations, including the Vantage Vue, Vantage Pro, Vantage Pro Plus, Vantage Pro2, Vantage Pro2 Plus, Wizard III, Monitor II, and Perception
Most Oregon Scientific Weather Stations, including the EMS100, RMS300A, RMS600A, WMR100A, WMR100NA, WMR100N, WMR200, WMR-918, WMR-928N, WMR-968 and WM-918. The WMR-300 is not included.
Some Radio Shack Weather Stations, including the WX-200 and Accuweather Wireless Station 63-1016
Huger WM-918 (same as the Oregon Scientific WM-918)
Rainwise MKIII, WT-2000 and MH-1 Hazmat
WeatherHawk Weather Stations
Peet Bros Weather Stations
Kestrel 4000
Texas Weather Instruments Stations
Columbia Weather Systems Weather Stations
