Title: To Kill two Birds with one Stone.
Post by: BeaumarisWX on February 14, 2018, 05:24:25 AM
There is an old saying "To kill two birds with one stone", I pose a new one, "To capture two birds and two rainbows in one picture".
I noticed this picture while viewing my recent days time-lapse video, so went back trough my 30 second image records and found this picture below. Thought it was worth showing.
Rain drops on lens (hense reason for rainbows) Camera Used: 4MP RLC-423 with 2560x1440 high resolution by : Reolink.com

Nice capture, hrvistaweather!!!  Looks like some stormy weather!!!  A hundred years ago (well, maybe not *that* long ago) I had the privilege of viewing the Tasman Sea from the mouth of Milford Sound...what a rough looking, but beautiful scene!!!   We could see large white-capped waves from a very far distance, they must have been giant!!!!  We had no desire to venture out into it!!!  Beautiful part of the world!!!

Thanks Ed, Yes the usual Cold Front brushing over us yesterday.
I've never been to NZ, but seen picture of Milford Sound (looks like a nice spot).
We now have the usual few days of sun before the next Cold Front approaches.
regards,
