Data contamination and future usefullness
« on: September 04, 2017, 08:00:46 PM »
How long can weather observations continue to be modified to suit the current perception re climate before the original manipulated data becomes totally useless and not fit for any purpose apart from having to be discarded?

Oh god

Jáchym,
My first thought was- Oh (expletives).
Matt's gone fishing for deep blue pelagics with an 8lb test line spincaster instead of a Penn International 130, a big Accurate or Avet.

Yeah, we know, diddling the figures, pretending nothing is happening because it is not in their economic benefit, 100% agreed Matt.

I think all rational thinking people just wants data that is data, not data that has been stretched until it no longer is representative of the actual and original data. Like why contort the actual real data into something that it is not? Why should the data have to be manipulated to become pretend data?

And I think all rational people have to agree with global warming based on what we know and see... just my 2 cents

Some will only ever see and hear what they want to hear, generally it's the left side who can't accept any other opinion or heaven forbid lower themselves to discuss it.

So lets get back to the actual question shall we, Data contamination and future usefulness! If the data is deliberated contaminated then how can it ever be useful to make any justifiable decisions?

thanks for admitting to it

Your question is obviously not being discussed because it is absurd

Maybe you might be the one who doesn't want to discuss the contamination of data :) Jáchym. You are very defensive on this and yet have been very active on this thread so lets not kid ourselves, oh try and stick to the subject, it's the contamination of data being discussed

So WHY does data have to be contaminated to influence an outcome favourable to the requirements, like what's wrong with the original raw data that didn't indicate much at all?

Ah yes, one random blog is taken as truth. Show proof that the data they provide is correct?

You must be joking right?
My opiinon is based on research done by thousands of scientists all around the world.
You provide link to some blog? Without even looking at it, if someone considers this a valid source then there is no point in arguing at all with them. Waste of time.

This is what's now called "The Dumbing Down of America".  Where people are too lazy to research for themselves so they let any moron with a blog dictate what their opinion should be.

Many Americans are smart and do their own researching.  It's too bad those that don't scream from the rooftops.
