They don't want to sell you something that they know isn't ready, and then have to have everyone mailing them back for repairs or adjustments. This is the right way to do it. I think they want to sell you an atlas just as much as you want to own one, but if you buy it and are disappointed, would it be worth rushing things? I think the Oregon Scientific Davis lookalike was a letdown right?

There's another thread around here with tentative prices. They were leaked accidentally on Amazon about a month or so ago.

How do you know that? Is it speculation? Or do you have inside information from Acurite?

Hmmm ... no response to these questions. Have we identified a beta tester for Acurite? ;)
